Each BeeWeaver Queen is grafted, reared, and selected by our experienced and talented team of beekeepers to meet BeeWeaver breeding and quality standards. Our queens are naturally mated. We do not sell virgin queens, and we do not sell queens which have not demonstrated clear signs of healthy breeding and egg laying. We also specifically select our queens not just for their disease-resistant genetic traits, but their temperament as well, to ensure a manageable hive for ourselves and our customers. Our queens come marked and clipped by standard; if you do not want your queen marked or clipped, you must indicate as such in the available notes section at checkout, and allow for some time to produce this custom request. Unclipped and unmarked queens cannot be ordered or picked up without pre-ordering.

BeeWeaver Queen:

• A 3-Hole Queen cage of wood, a metal mesh screen, a cork at either end of the cage, and a block of sugar candy for sustenance in travel and installation.
• 1 mated, clipped, and marked BeeWeaver Breed queen

• 6-8 attendant worker bees

We ship our bees on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays of each week; we ship via USPS, and we do not want our queens to get held over the weekend in transit and perish. Your order will be shipped on the Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the shipping week of your choice from the selections above. Our queens generally arrive in 48-72 hours, but if you are further away than average or if there are disruptions in the postal system, it may take longer to arrive. Once the Queen has been accepted and picked up by the customer from the postal service, BeeWeaver no longer retains liability for lost or damaged bees. We recommend that all customers take lessons and read information for the installation and care of queens and colonies before making the purchase for greatest success. To ensure protection against the unlikely case of a failed installation due to insufficient production practices from BeeWeaver, we require our customers to take photographic and/or video records of every interaction with their queen and hive, and submit those images and videos to BeeWeaver Management at management@beeweaver.com to initiate options for replacements or refunds.
